Alex is Customer Director and Head of Business Development for Rolling Stock at Alstom. He supports Alstom's customers in the Mid West and Texas and is responsible for business development activities for Alstom's rolling stock segment in the US and Canada. Alex joined Alstom from Bombardier Transportation in 2021.
Prior to joining Alstom, Alex held various roles over 15 years at Bombardier Transportation in Canada and in Europe, working in Bids, Engineering, Project and Finance . Most recently, Alex was project Director in charge of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) projects portfolio, including the TTC Streetcar and the TTC Rocket projects.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Engineering Physics from Laval University (Quebec), a Masters of Electrical Engineering from University of British Columbia (Vancouver) and an MBA from College des Ingénieurs (Paris). Alex is based in the Twin Cities.

Scott Sherin is the Chief Commercial Officer for Alstom in the United States, overseeing all commercial activities including business development, sales, marketing strategy, and key customer and partner relationships.

With more than 25 years of experience in the rail industry across North America, Europe, and Asia, he has held senior leadership roles at Alstom since joining in 2010 and prior to that with GE Transportation.
