Export Development Canada (EDC) is Canada's Export Credit Agency with a mandate to support and develop Canada's export trade through financing and risk mitigation solutions. In addition to supporting Canadian companies, EDC's Global Partnerships team works with foreign multinationals that have operations in Canada to drive increased investment and integrate Canadian suppliers into global value chains. Alstom is a key partner of this program as of April 2024 due to its significant footprint, innovation and important role as Canada's only rolling stock manufacturer.
