Joshua Sanchez brings over 19 years of experience, starting in the automotive industry (powertrain) and expanding across power systems (asset protection) and rail (Digital & Integrated Systems and Rolling Stock), spanning engineering, validation, product quality, and supplier development. His career progression—from Product Electrical Engineering and R&D leadership to supplier quality and now strategic supplier development—gives him a unique end-to-end perspective on building high-performing, resilient supply chains.
Today, he leads Supplier Strategic Development (SSD) for the Americas at Alstom, where his mission is to enhance supplier performance and maturity through a balanced approach that combines strategic direction with hands-on operational execution (including supplier audits, root cause analysis, corrective action management, performance tracking, and direct collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive measurable results).

Regional Operational Supplier Development Manager - NAM

Marty Matvey is a Regional Operational Supplier Development leader at Alstom, responsible for driving supplier performance, operational recovery, and risk mitigation across North America. He works closely with supplier leadership teams and Alstom stakeholders to stabilize production, improve delivery reliability, and ensure alignment between material availability and program execution.
In his current role, Marty leads critical supplier interventions, establishing structured governance, clear production planning, and accountability frameworks to address operational constraints. His approach focuses on creating transparency across Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality, enabling faster decision-making and sustainable performance improvement. He is known for a hands-on, fact-based, and relationship-driven approach to delivering results.
Marty brings more than 15 years of experience across procurement, supplier development, and consulting, with prior roles at Bombardier and Accenture supporting sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and operational transformation initiatives across industrial environments.
He holds a dual degree in International Business and Leadership & Change Management.
